It's probably a lot easier to do in 15in vs 27...

Are you asking a question or like?.... idk.

So this new monitor has been announced for all of five days, and it's a disgrace that desktops haven't caught up?  Not to mention, there's a decent chance that it's an overclocked 240hz display

ASUS does not disclose the maker of its 300 Hz/3 ms display panels, though it is highly likely that the company uses panels with a 240 Hz native refresh rate in overdrive mode. What is noteworthy is that production 240 Hz ROG Zephyrus S GX701 and ROG Zephyrus S

My friend I hear you loud and clear.  Monitor technology moves as slow as a turtle,,,, no phun........I might as well stick a 55" QLED OLED 4k monitor on desktop and 1440p when gaming.

It's definitely OC 240Hz panel though. There are 240Hz ones that are not really native, or better yet shouldn't be set as since they can't properly be fast enough in needed timeframe. So can expect ghosting. Though I'd like to see an in-depth test.

Also, for a while now there is a 480Hz desktop monitor so yeah, I'm excited to see that one see the light one day.
