Cannot get monitor past 200Hz

Willem De Zwijger

I overclocked my monitor to 200Hz and it is running stable. I wanted to see if I could go furhter but 200Hz seems to be the furthest you can go in Radeon Settings (going higher sets it back to 200Hz). Updating to the latest drivers and restarting didn't seem to do the trick.

Specs:

 - Ryzen 3 1300X

 - MSI Radeon RX 570 armor (8GB, OC)

 - 16GB DDR4 memory

 - AOC G2590FX  (I am 99% sure that this is my model, I can't reach the box it came in as I don't have a ladder). I am using a DP connection.

These are not the best components since I was on a budget, but depending on the anti aliasing settings I can get well over 200 fps in most games. If I can't get it further on Radeon I am already glad with 200Hz.

Try Custom Resolution Utility, you might get further.
