I Need Budget Keyboard Suggestions

Chrollo

I'll buy a keyboard to use with my laptop, i dont want to spend so much on keyboard since it'll be for my laptop im looking for keyboards under 60$. I really liked the look of Cooler Master MasterKeys and im actually considering to buy it but it lacks of macro keys. Im open to any suggestions also i'd like to know if anyone recommends cooler master masterkeys is it any good.

So far my choices are

Cooler Master MasterKeys

Razer Cynosa Chroma

Corsair K55

I think that Razer Huntsman can also fit in your budget. If not look into something like a HyperX Alloy or Logitech G413, both are great keyboards but they lack RGB.

Lite I assume? Pro versions are great mechanical boards for the money, Lite are just decent membrane keyboards, not amazing. Add 9 bucks and get this : https://www.amazon.com/HyperX-Alloy-FPS-Accessories-HX-KB1BL1-NA/dp/B01LWMXIRY no RGB, but pretty nice board. Or this https://www.amazon.com/Redragon-K556-Mechanical-Keyboard-Aluminum/dp/B01NAI2TXC if i must have RGB, built like a tank, pretty quiet "brown" switches, has RGB. Even the switches are hot swap, easy to change if they broke or if you would like to change them later. Very nice board for the money, but if RGB is not needed, go for HyperX.

If buying this one make sure to test in some store or buy from a store with great return policy, it has romer g switches, many people dislike them, imo, they suck, so make sure to try, or have a possibility to return it, if you end up not liking how the switches feel. Also, it costs around 80 bucks, so that might be above the budget.

It costs over 100 usd.

I really liked how it looks and build quality looks decent probably ill go with this keyboard, but i just saw that Logitech G810 currently has a nice discount going on in my country, by paying little bit more i can buy that instead, what are your thoughts  on G810. Are differences between g413 and g810 huge or is it just rgb

It's  similar to g413, build quality is pretty much the same, get it if you need dedicated media keys and must have RGB. Also, if you get a board with romer g, you are pretty much stuck with those thin abs keycaps, they are impossible to change into something better, because they are romer g. Those caps of their start to shine pretty quickly. Also, it might look good, not necessarily feel great. Test it if you can, you might dislike it.

Have you tried both of them? I checked them out in a store while back, build quality was pretty much the same imho.

I think that G413 is only plastic while G810 has a aluminium backplate. Not sure though

G413 has a case from aluminum, not plastic, at least they say so on the product page.

As for g810, no  aluminum backplate for sure :

If there is one, I don't see it. Both boards weight pretty much the same, 50 grams difference only, so no, the build is very similar.

There you go, g413 dissembled :

Looks similar, or even better imho, might be even sturdier.

Btw what is all the hate about Romer-G switches on internet. I've never used a mechanical keyboard before I'm really curious why some people really hate those switches is it just feeling or any durability issues

Feel mostly, also not possible to change caps, which sucks very much, because Logitech uses thin abs lasered keycaps and they are prone to do this fairly quickly: LC2A9Bn.jpg

and when they do, your only option is to get the same caps, no possibility to get better ones. Also, romer g is personal preference, some like them, some don't. So if you can, try them out first. For me, they feel like rubbery mx browns.but you might like them, and that's ok too, people like different things.

it mainly feels mushy and i didnt have a good typing experience with that keys. It's my personal opinion but other review might vary.
