Best configuration for AMD GPU RX 570

Go to solution Solved by flibberdipper,

Running down in the same order as your OP:

  • Theoretically yes, you just have to enable it in Radeon Settings. Only stipulation is that you need to be using DisplayPort. The AMD Optimized setting is just RS determining if a particular game should have FreeSync enabled or not. As far as I'm aware there's no real reason to use it.
  • 70C is perfectly fine. Can't say I'd recommend in anything, really.
  • Depending on the game yes. As you would expect, some games will benefit more than others.

I just bought a new GPU, finally! And I was messing around with some settings. So, there're 3 features that I would want to know more about.

  • Freesync: My monitor is compatible. As I far as I know, I only have to enable this feature in the Radeon Settings That's it, right? I mean, there's AMD optimized and Activated options so I'm not completely sure how it works. That's why I ask.
  • Radein Chill: Nice to keep temps low, in theory. The Witcher 3 stays at 70ºC. I don't know if this is that great. Would you guys recommend this setting on? Also, apparently, it only work in some games.
  • Radeon Anti-Lag: Better responses times, they say. Is that true?

Basically, I'm curious about those features and any advice to a new amd user is very much welcome
