144hz tn vs 75hz ips

I am using LG 22MK600, which is IPS display. Now wishing to buy LG 24GL600F which is TN but 144hz. Should I buy it?

By the way, I love good color in gameplay, but also like to have fast motion. I am using GTX 1060 3GB variant.

 

Should I buy it?

Question is - Will your 1060 3GB be able to produce 144FPS?

suggest saving until you can get a 144hz VA panel. you get much better colors than the TN panel at the cost of some pixel switch speed. 

 

edit: you can get them for rather cheap.

I get smooth 144hz on rocket league and a 1050ti. But depends obvs on games.

example of a cheap VA panel, with freesync aswell you can benefit even if you can exactly get 144hz.

With that i5 and 1060, 144 ildoeant make sense.
