PC Build Recommendations (Gaming/Streaming Build)

Sleepy Kirby

1. Budget & Location

Hello All I am based off the US I plan to spend up to 2k. But I can add in an extra 200 if I get a higher tier of performance.

2. Aim

I Plan to use this PC for gaming and streaming at really high graphics. I also will like to use this PC for editing and also able to be powerful enough for me to dabble in any hobbies I might be intereseted

Once I get a good PC

3. Monitors

I currently have a 1080p 144hz monitor But I will add another one so I can have dual screens I will also upgrade to 1440p maybe a few months later during the holiday season

4. Peripherals

I have the peripherals I need just not the strong PC so no plans on peripherals at the moment.

5. Why are you upgrading?

I am upgrading because the computer I currently have is equivalent to a i7-3000 series. I like to enjoy gaming at high graphics and enjoying lifes pleasures haha.

I have a PC PartPicker List that I created which I like your opinions on the build as well as any improvements to get more power for the PC

Here is the List:  (P.S Politics aside Not sure If I should hold onto Black Friday or now just in case the prices get higher)

Thanks for the help.

The 8 core CPU is going to be plenty, If it's not you can just save some cash for the 16 core CPU in a little while.

You also really don't need to spend that much on the PC, can easily do $1400 or less.

I'd stick to air cooling so there's no risk of failure, the performance is going to be comparable even with the price savings.

You also don't need 32GBs of RAM, I do 4k gameplay editing and I never go over 16GBs.

The RX 5700 has plenty of performance for 1080p 144hz, but if you were going to order asap, a lot of the aftermarket cards are out of stock right now.

Can also use the money saved to upgrade your main display to like a 1440p 100hz ultra wide, or 32" 4k display for productivity.

Build looks fine too me!

swap the psu for something like Corsair RM550x or be quiet straight power 10/11 maybe grab a 650W unit but you definitely don’t need 1000w.

as for the case, I can highly recommend the fractal design meshify C

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
