looks like a bit much for those small dies, if its non conductive it should be fine though

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Too much is better than too little, anyways. If there's too much, the excess will just squeeze out at the sides, but if there's too little....well, no amount of squeezing the cooler-screws tighter will fix that.
