PWM fan connector

Go to solution Solved by minibois,

It will fit (only in one way, so not worries there either).

There is also no other software required, your motherboard will know what to do. You can however set up a different 'fan curve' (when the fans has to move fast or slower, depending on the temperature) if you do not agree on the speed of the fan(s).

I just ordered a CPU cooler, it appears that the fan has a PWM connector.

My motherboard's CPU FAN connector has 4 pins, so I assume it'll fit. But does it require any additional software/hardware to make it work properly?
