500-600 laptop for my dad

so my dad wants a simple laptop so he can check his emails, browse the web and play solitaire for 500 to 600 $ it would preferably have an SSD it does not need to have any gaming capabilities

Look for an entry-level business-class laptop - HP ProBook or Dell Vostro

check out Lenovo, they make excellent business laptops
