Help me choose a Interface/Mixer

RAGNES7

I have a Audio Technica ATR 1300 Dynamic mic and for the same, I'm looking for something to hook it up.

My options are:

1) Mackie Mix 5 compact 5 channel mixer

2)Behringer XENYX 502 5 channel mixer

3) Behringer Umphoria UMC22

I had that same mic for a while, I would suggest pairing it with a Focusrite interface. It is very affordable and the quality is top-notch. I have installed this interface in numerous studios and have always had great results with it.

100% a Focusrite.

Look at any of their 2nd gen ones. I've had loads of theirs from 2i2 to 8PreX now, and are great products. Their most budget friendly is the Solo, which has one mic pre-amp.

Awesome products.

If you're recording yourself then get the interface, Option 3. :) Behringer used to be known for low quality products, but their products as of 5 ish years ago seriously kick butt.

The mixer is just there to mix the channels together to two outputs to send to speakers. If you're playing live, then get the mixer. :)

Out of curiosity, is it for streaming, gaming, calling friends, etc.? Are you playing live?

I live in a 3rd world country, focusrite is being song for more than double it's cost.

Would this be too out of your price range? I have installed this interface at multiple radio station clients of mine in the past and they seemed to be happy with the results:

What is not right? Is something in the sound characteristics not right?

What microphone are you using?

More details please. :)
