I know it’s cad$. Just saying it seems expensive. Do you have any other retailers available for you besides amazon?

because people sometimes skimp on PSU and buy a shitty quality unit. So I ask again, what model psu do you have?

Have a gtx 1660ti with a i7 3770 gonna upgrade but just wanna make sure everything is compatible :) would appreciate the help. Also have a 500w power supply. Will that be enough power ?

@Beam3k

what exact psu do you have?

also what’s your total budget willing to spend? That 2600x looks expensive considering for ~€210 you can get a 3600

PSU quality can lead to component failure if it's a bad unit. Even if it's a "good brand".

Plus, use ca.pcpartpicker.com don't use Amazon CA, Amazon sucks

I mean it looks like a ‘ok’ unit. 540w should be enough for your system. But won’t be running anything high end on this psu.

What is your total budget for the upgrade?

Would a 3400g be better than the 2600x for a 1660ti ?

What you chose is good. The 3600 is 60 CAD more (surprise suprise, even on pcpartpicker canada) and if you can't afford it then the 2600x is the best choice. Besides that they already said the psu should be able to support your pc so i think there will be no problems
