RAM speed for Ryzen 5 3600 enough or not?

I am getting a Ryzen 5 3600 and an MSI B450M Bazooka Plus. I currently have 16GB's of Ripjaws V 2800MHz. Will that be enough or is it better to upgrade the RAM. The problem is I can't afford the faster RAM's at this time. I just want to know if i get a 3200MHz 16GB, will I be seeing much of an improvement or do I just stick with the one I have? This is my first time getting anything from Team RED so I need some insight thanks.

You'll see improvements with higher ram speeds, I dont have the figures but all it takes is a quick search on YouTube, "Ryzen 3000 series ram speeds"

AFAIK the minimum "recommended" is 3200mhz.

If you can’t afford it, there is not a substantial enough difference to concern yourself with it

Don't worry about it, 2800MHz in hand is perfectly fine.


Besides, if you can't afford it how are you going to get 3200MHz RAM?

The thing is I will be saving up again and I was wondering if I should get a faster RAM or upgrade something else of my PC. But it will take a while for me to save up wither way. And ya I think i'm gonna stick with what I have. It isn't that far off 3200.

Yep I will try upgrading other stuff and i never thought of overclocking my RAM but maybe I should look int it.
