Ryzen 3900x Engineering Sample??

Hi, I bought 3900x the day it came from 100% reputable online store. Now, on HWinfo screen it says "Eng. Sample"? Anyone know what the hell?

Could you guys check, if it reads on you also?

Most likely a bug in HWinfo, more people on Reddit are reporting that their chips are recognized as such.

The truth is AMD is using all of you to test their engineering samples as retail units ?

 

Video games companies been doing it forever and AMD wants in on their strat
