Mi Pad 4 LTE Global ROM

Recommended Posts

Posted · Original PosterOP

Hi guys,

I just ordered the Mi Pad 4 LTE version. Does anyone know where I can download the global ROM + instructions to install it?

Yes, I know that you can sideload the Play Store, but it doesn't work very well according to some forums I've read.

If there is no global ROM available, what ROM do you recommend?

For instructions, Google/Youtube should be of help

I have never owned or used a Xiaomi tablet. I am not involved in any of the links provided or anything related to XDA, rom or software development.

Awareness is key. Never enough, even in the face of futility. Speak the truth as if you may never get to say it again. This world is full of ugly. Change it they say. The only way is to reveal the ugly. To change the truth you must first acknowledge it. Never pretend it isn't there. Never bend the knee.

Can I immediately flash the newest build, or do I need to check which version is on the tablet and flash the closest version and update afterwards?

Assuming you are flashing with the method provided by Xiaomi (not through a custom recovery) then you can flash whatever build you chose to download. Because stock images come with kernal and all partitions.
