AMD RX 5700 XT 6 monitor support?

So recently I got back into the GPU market as I require a graphics card capable of supporting 6 1440p displays. So I came across the RX 5700 XT which seems fast enough for my needs. After looking around some vendor pages for maximum displays the card can support I came across some conflicting numbers. On some sites (Gigabyte, MSI) the maximum display count was 4 and on the others (ASUS) the spec was listed as 6. The GPU does in fact only have 4 display outputs but i was hoping the actual graphical chip could support 6 displays using displayport 1.2 daisy-chaining which my monitors support. Does anyone know if that would be possible?

Yes, it does support that functionality. You can run up to seven 4k60 screens total, or up to thirteen 1080p60 screens with the 5700 XT.

I second this, as the Taichi is advertised for this task.

 

This is actually the unique niche that justifies the Taichi's cost. I highly recommend pursuing this variant as you need this.
