Looking for a SSI EEB Case

Just now, TVwazhere said:

@Zando Bob what did you end up with for your SR-2 board again?

Never ended up buying a case for it, still just have a mobo tray I can mount to plywood for a homemade test bench setup. As far as proper cases go, the only reasonably priced one (and only one of 2 actually sold any more) to fit HPTX was this Anidees one: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/K6MTwP/anidees-ai-crystal-xl-ar-3-atx-full-tower-case-xl-ar3

It's a motherboard form factor. Usually dual cpu boards

Microsoft is ending support for W7 at the end of this year (Jan. 2020). If you're still on W7, consider switching to W10 soon.

This will surely take some digging to find. I modded an large ATX case the Deepcool Matrexx 55 to fit a large board.

This has 6 3.5 inch bays, 7 2.5 inch bays, and 3 5.25 inch bays, also can fit SSI EEB boards, and it's decently priced as well.

Always try googling your motherboard and looking at the spec sheet and manual - OEMs keep those up for a reason - and maybe you'll learn something 🤔

Thats what it was! It took me an hour and a half to find that case last time, so you'd think I'd remember what it was :D good thing I have you to remind me.

Lol, I just filtered PCPP by HPTX compatible mobos (thankfully they still have that as a filter option when the newest mobo I know of to use that form factor is the SR-X) and recognized the name, it was the old "I know what it is but I can't remember the name".
