Posted August 12, 2019 Hello, I'm looking to possibly buy a Razer Blade 15 (2018) with 16gb memory, 256 SSD, 2Tb HHD, and a gtz 1060 max-Q. It's going to cost me around $1450... Posted August 12, 2019 No, not really. Unless you plan on replacing it after 12 months or so because Blades have an average life cycle of 1-2 years at most. It's gonna be a pretty poor experience knowing Razer's awful track record of high failure rates, poor customer support, horrid internal design, electrical component choices and PCB layout. I've known people who have had great experiences with razer and then some people got the short end of the reliability stick. Apparently a lot of people get defective units from them. I would check out the Asus Zenbook 15" with the gtx 1650 or the msi ps63 (i think) with the 1650. Posted August 28, 2019 Author I prefer upgradable ram and storage because I’d like to upgrade in the future... 8 hours of battery isn’t as bad... I don’t really have any specific weight in mind the lighter the better but again if it’s on the heavy side, it wouldn’t be a problem.
