*SOLVED* How do I get my speeds back?

Jessoms

Howdy!

I just upgraded my computer and I am no longer getting my 1gbps speeds. I built it yesterday and did a fresh install of windows 10. All drivers are up to date. I've uninstalled/disabled all the drivers and reinstalled them again. My network adapter shows that I'm receiving 1gbps, but speed test is showing me that I'm only getting 18mbps. I cannot find a solution anywhere. Same goes for the WiFi.

My router is still sending full 1gbps to other devices and WiFi as well.

What am I missing?!

I should add that I tried disabling all windows firewalls as well and that didn't help.

SOLVED!

I uninstalled Gamefirst V and that did it. I had no idea it was throttling my speeds.

Hopefully this can help someone out in the future.
