I signed up for F@H and the event yesterday, started folding, now I'm up to 500k points and 17 WUs on my new PC. Looking forward to October!

9/10 folders reccomend full power and leaving it for a while. it doesn't start generating points immediately

Also the stat's only update after a WU has been completed, and only once every hour, on the hour. So wait a bit and those points will show up ;)

Edit: Nevermind, XOC still shows it. 6,371,697,312 points earned, 288,472 Work Units completed.

What I think is quite impressive with this I the fact that even after all the pullback of production we are still producing more than we did before last year's folding month

where do I add this?

Open the Advanced Control from the Task Menu, Click on the Client, Click "Configure, select the "Slots" tab, select the GPU Slot, click "Edit", change the opencl-index to a value other than -1 and Click OK then Save. If that does not work try other values.

I already fixed it. I deleted the slot and then added it again.

What do I do when it's stuck trying to load the web control?

I just dont use the web interface, simple fix

you can also just type FAHcontrol in the start menu and it will open the client advanced control thingie

Just installed it on my home server.  I haven't folded full time in a long, LONG time (Playstation 3 era), but I've got a headless home server with Debian Linux, 16GB of RAM and an old 6 core AMD Phenom II that mostly sits around idling unless we're watching something on Plex or playing on the Minecraft server.

 

Got it up and running as a system service that starts automatically at boot, but with a lower priority than our other things.  I may just go ahead and leave it running 24/7.  That CPU only draws 95 watts TDP max and I've got a 125 watt wraith cooler on it, so it does good to hit 49-50 degrees under full load across all 6 cores.

 

Here's hoping I can contribute a little something to the LTT team, and the Folding project as a whole, ?
