so checked My pc this morning, didn’t do anything overnight. When I went to bed it was stuck on ‘connecting’ (yellow) to the server -just rebooted my system and it starts folding again. 

 

there were no additional logs to be shown. I really hope it just starts continues working... otherwise I might give up, too much shit happningx lost WU’s, long upload,  bad work unit errors etc

1080ti - 2075mhz, 10188‬mhz(effective)

 

1080 - 2100mhz, 9486(effective)

 

Bot bad, leaving the high density system with max fans and a 80% power target as they boost higher this way.

I have a 2070 super and 1070 ti and was just shy of 2million lol

If you push those cards you should be able to get 1.5MPPD out of the 2070 Super and 850kPPD out of the 1070 Ti.

 

The 2060 Super should be capable, when pushed, of 1.25MPPD. The 2060 about 1.1MPPD

I was going to end up with a GPU left over after rearranging all the cards for folding month. It was going to be sold but instead I’m going to use it to build a computer with the youngest to replace the i5 NUC they’ve been using ,mostly playing MineCraft and ElfSword.

 

I picked up:

• Define Meshify C White TG
• Aorus B450 M
• Ryzen 5 2600X
• 2 x 8GB GSkill Ripjaws 5 DDR4 3200 CL16
• Corsair CX450
• Adata SX 6000 Lite 256GB M.2 NVMe

Most of these were open box so I got an extra 10% off. Doubtless we’ll need some RGB Fans and Strips to give it some bling.

 

I’ll throw in my slowest card, an EVGA GTX 1060 6GB SSC ACX3, which will be more than capable of driving their 60Hz 1080p display.

 

I can’t wait to see their face  when I show them the components tomorrow night and the the expression I get when I tell them they can’t use it until after Folding Month is over and I see a good interim Report Card .

 

The expression on their older siblings face when they come home from Uni during the Fall reading week and see their younger sibling now has a nicer computer than them will also be priceless.

I know. First world problems. I can stop buying GPUs anytime. Really. I don’t have a problem.

 

I have one of those SCs too but it’s the short version so I’m keeping that as it’s the only Nvidia Card I have that will fit in my Node 804 Daily Driver and not interfere with the  connections off the LSI SAS controller.

 

They're still nice cards but I’m already spending too much on electricity.

Had some network problems last night, F@H client had errors about not finding IP for the assignment servers. Client had uploaded completed WUs, but did not get new ones. I could connect to both assignment servers with browser, reboot solved the problem.

I have them both running at +100

Fans at 75%

Temps around 62c

 

I think I'm getting around 800ish on the 1070ti before I got the 2070 Super
