Definitely intake! Side fans are the best thing you can do for your GPU, especially if you've got it filtered like I do

I can mount a fan to the side panel of my silent base 800. Had a 120mm be quiet pure wings 2 there as intake last year when folding. I might need to mount a fan there again if I can find a spare fan, empty fan header or splitter. 

Really annoying though as whenever you take the side panel off you have to unplug the fan before you can fully remove the panel. Likewise putting the panel bank on again is annoying trying to reach around and plug it back in.

Thermaltake thought of that when they designed my Level 10 GT. The fan plugs into gold contacts that activate when the side panel closes. the downside is this is fairly proprietary due to the "Red Green Blue" fans used (sorry for the grainy zoomed in picture)

What memory clock are people with GTX1080Ti's running while folding?

 

I just used NvidiaInspector/NvidiaProfileInspector and it was running in P2 state. Disabled "Force P2 State" and NvidiaInspector is now showing it running in P0 state when I'm folding, but my memory clock speed hasn't changed.

 

MSI Afterburner & NvidiaInspector shows it with a +120MHz offset. Gigabyte Aorus Engine shows it as +240MHz offset.

According to HWInfo64 it's 1434.4MHz. MSI Afterburner & NvidiaInspector is showing 5738MHz. Gigabyte Aorus Engine shows it as 11250MHz.
 

So I know that the difference between HWinfo64 and MSI Afterburner is showing actual clock vs effective clock (4x)... But what is going on with the Gigabyte software? Why is it showing 11,478MHz (double the effective clock)?

I actually got 2025ish to be stable when folding in June (though I didnt pouch P0 states) but it crashes if I play games with that. 

 

I tried forcing both 1070ti's to P0 states using the same methods, and it didnt seem to do much (though I am underclockig/volting so...) Does it only affect memory frequency and not GPU frequency? I wasnt even paying attention to that...

I looked at XOC and saw that I was producing 0 points for the last week, and realized that I've been folding under the wrong team number... oops.

 

I also bought a 2060, so that'll be fun. $289.99 on amazon seemed like a really good deal.

I just used NvidiaInspector/NvidiaProfileInspector and it was running in P2 state. Disabled "Force P2 State" and NvidiaInspector is now showing it running in P0 state when I'm folding, but my memory clock speed hasn't changed.

 

MSI Afterburner & NvidiaInspector shows it with a +120MHz offset. Gigabyte Aorus Engine shows it as +240MHz offset.

According to HWInfo64 it's 1434.4MHz. MSI Afterburner & NvidiaInspector is showing 5738MHz. Gigabyte Aorus Engine shows it as 11250MHz.
 

So I know that the difference between HWinfo64 and MSI Afterburner is showing actual clock vs effective clock (4x)... But what is going on with the Gigabyte software? Why is it showing 11,478MHz (double the effective clock)?

I am using Aorus 1080 Ti on water cooling and I haven't touched Nvidia Inspector nor Nvidia Profile Inspector and I only use MSI Afterburner to overclock and monitor.

I am running +250 MHz and it reports 5258MHz while running at 58 Celsius for WU 13815.

 

Aorus Engine is quite buggy for me but I do know that it always used to display 2x effective clock for my 1080 Ti.
