Still kicking ideas around.  But, mostly will be done in brush inks.

 

Though, kicking around idea to do some small ones for prizes as well.  That if it ok for me to do like chibi logo style of LTT with a computer on flames.  xD  (one of the ideas I'm kicking around)

Its back up and running

 

had to snip the fan off.

 

now I cant control the fan speed so its running at 100%... at least it wont overheat lol

You really shouldn't put your fingers in it while it is running.  Things like blades tend to get damaged.  :P

Hmm.

I do have couple extra 5" quad copter motors and blades, those might be a solution for finger proof GPU cooling. ?

lol it wast my fingers this time..... i was installing a gpu support stand and forgot how close the fans where to the edge

Hopefully Asus will just send you a replacement fan and not make you RMA the whole card.

 

I was pulling the front dust filter off a Define R4 and it clipped the upper fan, a Coolmaster ML140, and broke one of its blades off. In the resulting panic the fan worked its way out of the frame and broke the Noctua iPPC 3000 below it.

Its 2nd hand so not even sure if under warranty, found a replacement fan, but from China so will just have to wait

Played with the APU anomaly a bit more, just 'cause it is fun.  Managed to run the Vega portion at 1500Mhz for a few minutes of folding, but the highest I can keep it stable at while folding is 1325, so I backed it down to 1300.  Stock there is 1250.  This thing is gonna be awesome as my low power server once I have time to set that up fully.  Also played with some undervolting the CPU and down clocking the graphics and got it under 35W (normal pull while full folding is about 95W at 4Ghz CPU and 1300Mhz GPU, with spikes up to about 125W).  I haven't hit the top end of the CPU OC yet, but don't care to push it much, since this will basically be a closet file and web server once all is said and done.

 

Oh, all on box cooler too.  LOL

Got weeks average of 658kPPD with my stock gtx 1070. Now it has +100 on core and 75% fan speed, lets see how it does now. Tried +150 core but got few errors in FAH.

my 1060 rigs psu died. didnt kill anything.had to go back to the stock psu that came with my thinkcentre. thats what happens when you buy a no name psu in 2009 and fold on it on a pentium 4 for 2 years and then try it again 8 years later. guess its just my 1050ti and 980 for now

yeah. sadly the original psu doesnt even have molex to adapt to 6 pin pcie so the best card ive got itll run is my evga 1050ti ssc
