I mean you cant just have those graphics cards sitting around so you clearly need to buy at least 3 more systems to throw them in then you'll be down to 3 ports left open in the switch which means you obviously have to fill those with even more systems with more graphics cards.... Whats the maximum power rating for a residential house again?

No idea, I’m in an apartment. I can install drivers for multiple GPUs with Device Manager, but I think I borked something because now everything is messed up, will likely reinstall windows and just use the 1660 Ti, 1050 Ti, and 1050 since they all use the same driver. The 660 seems to bamboozle the system.

Many older houses are 100A service, most newer ones are 200A service (at 110-120v US current).  So, 24k Watts before the main breaker trips in most cases. ;)

Yeah too bad NVIDIA drivers don't play nice with each other. Ive rand into that issue before too. best to just run it separate if you ask me.

And maybe even more if we shove some pennies in it? lol

Too bad there's no GPU folding on Mac.  That'd let me crank up a pair of quadros a few mobile ones, and a bunch of 980s in various systems.

Also, RIP APU folding…it got a 14180 WU and even with the graphics portion of the APU overclocked it is staying 7 day estimated completion time.

That’s the plan for rn. Some of my issues were caused by my brain deciding not to ask my hands if they actually plugged the CPU power in. Being pretty much lumps of meat but for the brain’s directions, they had not. That problem is fixed, now to clean install windows 10 and get it booting with 3 GPUs.

Oho second rig up and running, something is wack with either my 1050 or how the mobo handles certain GPU/PCIe slot positioning so rn it's just a 1660 Ti and 1050 Ti chugging away. May put together another rig and see what's up with the 1050.

EDIT: finna pull out the Switch tbh, has been a while and I don't wanna stop my main rig from folding but I do wanna game... ?

This AMD 2400G APU is whack.  Just OC'd it to 4Ghz with Ryzen Master, and OC'd the GPU portion a little more too.  It appears to actually be folding slightly faster, so I think it really did it…and the UPS says it is pulling an additional 4 watts from the wall.  But the temps are 12 degrees COOLER and the fans are spinning less.  WEIRD!

As there is silicon lottery with the chips, they have default settings that work with all of them. So there might be a different sweet spot of settings to your piece of silicon.

I've never seen temps go DOWN with OC though, just not go up as much.  I won't complain though.  LOL

I think I can say that my second hand GTX 1070 isn't a lemon. Got it home from post office and since then it has been folding for ten days 24/7. It's a blower style card so temps and OC isn't great but it's better than my previous RX 480. So far I think this has clocked something like 100 times the normal usage time I would use it daily and all of it at 100% load. I did order replacement fan just in case ?

You ordered a replacement radial fan? Come to think about it I've never had one of those go on me tbh

Yes I did, I know these are reliable fans but these days you can't be sure if the card has been used for mining. And the seller listed this around 30€ less than usual asking price is at local forums, so I had my doubts.

:I  And here I'm stuck in a Townhouse built in 1986. (bad enough the cable is the smaller type which degrades my internet a tad) . Yet I still fire up three rigs at times.  Probably explains why I get a few small black outs during a month.
