Alright guys, the time for locking this thread has come, can you all please use the Folding Community Board for all further talk.

Given the awful advertising of the original folding month, is there any way I can still eligible for the Founder badge at all by joining this or nope?

 

I know it seems cheap of me to care about the badge but I'd have joined it then should it have been better advertised and now it feels a bummer, being honest.

I'll run it in the background just so y'all have duplicate data - better safe than sorry.

The triple fan 1660 Ti's are fantastic. Mine sits at around 60 deg Celsius (@ 100% load),  fans very quiet in an ambient room temp of ~22-23 deg.

 

My system is in my bedroom, and I hardly ever notice any noise. Great cool, quiet and power efficient card.

My dual fan 1660ti also runs cool at about 70C but it has a 1070ti 1 slot underneath it running at 140W. In general the Turing cards appear much more efficient than Pascal.

I am sorry that you guys did not get your badges last year but no they will not be offered again. They were exclusive to last year which was the first ever event. We are aware that their were teething issues and tried to accommodate everyone we could. You can still earn the F@H event Bronze badge by participating this year in in future events get it upgraded with the more events you participate in.

I liquid-metalled mine, which means that it stays at around 55 C under load.

 

I've got the Gigabyte gaming OC version. I suspect the heat sink may be very similar (if not identical) on our cards, which means that the liquid metal seems to be very effective!

70 degs is a pretty respectable number in that setup. Does that include an overclock? Mine is running stock clocks.
