Woke up to find 3 systems idle... this is getting annoying... all are (not) talking to 155.247.166.220.

 

Are CPU units also affected by the server thing?

on average it’s about ~1.3M but my 2070 should push around that figure on its own

Put some CPUs on the systems that have idle GPUs. Fed up of babysitting them for now.

Server issues are really killing us, we'd have our 500m PPD if it weren't for that.

added the beta flag instead of advanced on all cards. 

saw this (up from regular 1.2m and 1.1m on bad wus):

also someone (ahem, nvidia) fucked up their boost algo and the frequency started fluctuating on one of the cards which cause driver crashes (cause of course those cards can't do 2076 on 1.081v, what are you on? i never win the silicon lottery). the system owner for that one decided he's not gonna fold till I come fix it, but didn't notify me either. So the whole day it was only 2 systems folding (... damn you brother, damn you)

Well that sucks. The AP that half my clients were running on shut down for some reason yesterday. 12 hours of half my machines not folding....ughn

i'm still waiting for that day when the download bug migrates from my CPU to my GPU's (although TBH my CPU could really stand to not run at 85C for once) but yeah, even consistant 14180's are better than download bug

Luckily i've completely avoided the download/upload issues some of you have been having, and my mild overclock on my 980ti has been very stable.

 

However, every WU assigned to me seems to be a 14180, which is really hurting my PPD.

I think i have now correctly enabled the beta client-type flag (I do this in the configure > Expert > Extra client options screen yeah?) so perhaps i'll get a different WU type in the next hour when this one completes!

i wouldn;t really get my hopes up if i where you. i have the beta flag enabled aswell and i've still been getting nonstop 14180's. :(
