I know it's legal to posses, buy and use but isn't growing still limited for those with medical needs still? (yes those who use it for medical have been able to grow it with permission for longer than it being legal country wide)

I originally bought them last summer to play around with them as blender render devices. I moved away from that project and kept them around, and have since started collecting all the Titan models. Still missing all the Pascal based cards, but I have the rest....as long as we don't count the CEO edition of the Titan V. Because that thing is crazy expensive.

Somewhere between 200-300k depending on the WU and temp of the card. About the same as a regular Titan or a Titan Black. Although the regular and Black cards tend to do slightly better because the cooler on those only has to cool a single GPU.

Federal law permits 4 plants for personal use and this is the same under Ontario Provincial law

Depending on the Work Unit it may not unless you add a overclock to have the CUda cores run at a higher frequency. I run at +60MHz which I’ve found stable on an EVGA Black but the 14180 and 14192 WUs I’ve been getting recently don’t appear to tax the GPU as much.

 

Some WUs, especially those with a smaller number of atoms, will not be able to use all the CUda cores at once in higher end cards so they just won’t perform as well.

 

Likewise, WUs that require a lot of calculations that the GPU can’t perform or have a large number of Double Precision Calculations, which GPUs typically don’t have a large number of, will also decrease the performance of GPUs

I'm thinking about getting out my old GTX 960. My GTX 1070 PC has a EVGA SuperNOVA G2 750 power supply, so I'm quite sure it could easily handle the extra GTX 960.

In all honesty it could probably handle another 1070 or probably even 2 80 series just might have to use the fan more.  But should still easily be within the spec depending on your cpu and such.

Believe it or not, this is the highest point job my processor has gotten after a month and a half of folding. I understand that the true point value is way higher than the estimates, but this is the highest estimate I have ever gotten.

I'm running a 2070 Super, 2080 Super and a R7 2700x off a 750W power supply and it's showing 565-595W at the UPS so you should have a lot of power headroom left

Lack of AVXitis. I typically fold on everything but the Pentium G5400 and 5500 in my older systems it just isn't worth it on the two threads left over so I just use them for BOINC
