Forum event badges have been handed out for the 2019 event. Those who participated in the event and were eligible for the badge should now have it.   If there are any issues with the event badges please contact me. Keep in mind the minimum participation requirements for the event: minimum requirements: 100k points, 20 WUs, and 20 days of having activity over the course of the whole month   The event badges are awarded as follows...   Newbie - Participated in

Good morning everyone,

 

The 12pm update, in around 7 hours will help up have a better idea of the true daily production values for the moment, only time will tell.

I wish they fix this WU thing as  got another 14180 and a 14190(which isnt as bad)

I'd be happy if they just stuck with giving them to my 1080 ti's. It takes my laptop more than 40 hours to process them.

They run better on older cards right ? (Non Turing)?

my 1070's get about 660K from them, while on other WU's they can get 700+.

so not terrible, but definitely not very good either

Yeah my PPD drops from ~1.5m to about 1m when running those 14180’s

I know when I went to bet last night all three of my GPUs were working on 14180. 14191 also is a low PPD WU for one card but not the others. Based on the stats I have the more CUs your GPU has the more this impacts you PPD. On my smallest card it actually appears to run a little faster. 1-2%

Pascal and Mexwell are super similar, I think the WU just struggles to run in parallel as well as the others so the higher clocked cards such as pascal and the lower CUDA count cards that usually boost higher seem to do better.

All of my rigs have been under performing. I've just gotten used to it now.

Once in a while I get a WU that can really put the 2080 Ti to work, but most of em sit around 1.8-2M.

It was getting to be depressing, but then I'm like oh yeah... we're still out pointing every other team so it's fine.

Don't think so, but if it was people would have been telling everyone on how to do it. Tho not sure how effective it would be vs simply just letting it run naturally.

No.  If you pause a system then swap out a card on restart it will dump the old WU and download another and you will lose the work done
