Folding month just had to start right when I had a warm spell and my rig isn't helping. You'd think only 1 gpu and cpu wouldn't heat up a room by much...

The return air would be optimal because you wouldn't have to worry about the extra heat  produced when you have to run the heat.  It always draws in cold or cooler air. . . I wan't to see picture keep us posted

I discovered an interesting fact - You can run a 1060 in the PCIe2x4 ChipSet slot on a b450 with little discernible loss in PPD.

 

And I only built 1 new folding system for this event, but I also built youngest kid a new Gaming system that is just being "stress-tested" until mid November when the interim report cards come in which will determine whether they get a display upgrade to match.

I imagine if you need to punish the youngest, their system becomes an extra bump in PPD.

Well guys, I'm up to 2 GPUs on the new rig. Unfortunately it looks like I'm gonna have to do some testing once this month is over, either the wall power in my room is shit (wouldn't surprise me) or my Asus Strix 1080 got rekt while sitting in the box for 10 months (logical...?). Either way, that gets my 2070 Super in the mix so I'm overall happier than an hour ago lol.

It _MIGHT_ work for single GPU systems but I doubt it would work for dual GPU systems as it checks if FahCore_2?.exe is running and, if not, reboots. For dual-GPU systems under normal operation there should be two instances of this.

Also, the script might issue a reboot in error if a download is slow but could complete in the fire minute interval.

I don't think you actually need their help here.  All you need to do is use flexible tubing to one of the big quad 200 radiators, or whatever covers up the return duct.  Have a simple frame to hold the rad(s) that latches to the duct.  Once you're not heating anymore, you'll still need the airflow, so being able to move the rad to exhaust out a window with a similar mount for your rad frame would then make everything easy.
