I can't seem to keep my GPUs folding. They are always in a ready state unless I uninstall and reinstall the folding program. Any ideas?

Check the logs in the advanced client the next time it gets stuck on Ready.
You may be experiencing a download bug where new work units aren't being downloaded. Restarting usually fixes it.

I've got a 14180 running on my laptop's 850m. Completion time is 1.4 days. yay.

My last few work units have all been 14180 as well. I think everyone is getting them at the moment. I think @Gorgon mentioned a few pages back that it might be caused by a server issue.

I prefer to think that we've just solved all the other work units and 14180 is the only one left ?/s

Well, my APU is stuck "Ready".  I've killed the client fully to restart it, and also restarted the machine, and it still just sits Ready.  The CPU slot was able to get a WU though.  About to throw in the towel on that and just put it back to being a linux server with no folding, letting a few spare Xeon CPU cores carry me through the rest of the comp, 'cause I don't have time to baby folding with an actual newborn baby too.

You know you want to run the VMS VAX system with the refrigerator sized HD like I had in college.  Thankfully we ended up with a nice DEC Alpha as the replacement system, and a Sun server on the side for CS students.  All of which were still easier to maintain than early AD/Exchange systems.

And yet again I wake up to a frozen download from 155.247.166.220. At this point I'm probably going to just block connections to that ip with my firewall.

The other possibility is that they finally got around to correcting the submitted WU with no bonus points bug correction. I noticed that early yesterday all the WU, AS, CS & AS servers were restarted and yesterday evening they all showed an uptime of hours so I suspect something was being done.

 

My correction was 7.1 million with 63 WU which seems reasonable but you only showed 2 WU completed in 12 hours which is suspicious.

Aww... I've just been so busy curing Ebola on both of my PCs (AMD and Intel/NVIDIA) all night, that I guess I haven't had time to do a 14180. I'm sure I'll be joining in on the fun soon.
