A 1080 will defeat the 2060 and not giving Ray Tracing and some other tech which is not important unless your playing BF which has RT and what not.

But then actually get the 5700 when you realise it performs the same for $50 less.

Pricing is a little messed up where I live, so that's not really an option coz I'm on a tight budget.

I realize that, but at RTX launch I was pretty excited for the technology, i realise they sold us something that isn't ready, but wouldn't it be better future proofing ?

Is a new RX 5700 an option? Otherwise, the 1080 slightly beats the 2060 by a whisker while having 2gb extra vram, so I'd get that if I had to choose.

RX 5700 still not available where I live, so I have no idea how much it'll launch for when it eventually does.
