Specific JS text editor

Hi there,

I am using Notepad ++ for my HTML and CSS but really want to get into JavaScript and ASP.

I was wondering if there is a text editor which is kinda preferred when writing in JS/ASP (or a better one in general).

To be honest, Notepad++ works for both just as well. I've used it for JS and jQuery in the past, and found no trouble with it.

ASP and PHP are similar in many ways (or even ASP.NET), so even that can be done in Notepad++.

I would say that Sublime Text 3 (http://www.sublimetext.com/) is the best code editor in the multiverse (It costs 70$ after the evaluation period has ended though..)

If you want something free, you could use Brackets (http://brackets.io/) which is an open source, front end code editor.

I also recommend installing Emmet (http://emmet.io/) with one of these editors as it will greatly improve your workflow when you are coding.
