It is a point-to-point wireless connection.

Usage, you have 2 remote locations that you want to link with each other, install one antenna at each location, and you have a fast connection between the 2 locations.

airFiber is not an AP, it does not comply with 802.11 standards therefore it cannot provide the wireless we are used to.

It is meant as a point to point link only, it uses custom protocols to achieve that gigabit bandwidth, it is as the name suggests a fiber link in the air :)

Something wrong with your connection ?

Run the damn cable :)

Long range point to point links and nothing else.
