I have a 3-tier tote, it's plastic. I allow my girlfriend's son to stick the stickers on there. He seems to like that :)

I leave them in the packaging they came in.

I paid for the product, I don't need to give them free advertising in my house as well.

The lay one I did was my AMD Phenom CPU sticker. Nothing else since. I like the metallic badge I got from MSI, but it looks tacky if I put it on anything... So I don't.

I mean, you could collect them and tag a friend's machine while they are away. I think that's best.

I only have the "Core i7 inside" Sticker on my case. It’s on the top, on the right hand side of the front USB Ports.

The "Pentium Inside" Sticker on my little ESXi Server is in the lower right corner on the front panel.

I kinda like them, it tells someone what kind of hardware they can expect from the machine. Even friends that see it or something like that.

Main PC: R7 3700X / Gigabyte X570 I Aorus Pro Wifi / Radeon RX 5700 XT / 32GB DDR4-3200 / 250GB & 2TB Crucial MX500 (in HP Prodesk 400 Case)

Laptop: R5 2500U / Radeon Vega 8 / 8GB DDR4-2400 / 500GB SK Hynix BC501 (HP Envy x360 13)

Only badge I got this time was for my 1500X. I put the rather nice looking, imo, Ryzen 5 badge on the front of my case

Currently focusing on my video game collection.

  • 1 year later...

Like my collection?

Most people reject their case stickers, I often throw them away but I'll keep some of the nice ones. The i9 sticker from my Mac killer, an old Sempron that a friend bought super cheap new in box, my actual 8086k sticker, the sticker from the new Ryzen build I made, an old Asus sticker I don't remember where from, and a pile of G.Skill stickers that slowly grows with each passing build.

Do you like to apply case badges, or do you like to toss them?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Considering my case is an old PowerMac G5, putting a sticker on it would completely defeat the purpose of the case mod.

Whenever I get case badges, I tend to not apply them unless it's a brand/product that I will fully endorse. Namely Intel's i3, i5, and i7 stickers.

I had my "8th Gen Core i3" on my laptop and my "8th Gen Core i5" sticker on my PC for the longest time until I was bored of the novelty and ended up removing them for a cleaner aesthetic.

Which brings me onto my point as to why I generally dislike case badges: they leave residue. I was lucky enough to catch my laptop's Core i3 sticker before it caked itself onto the chassis.

I like my stuff clean-looking now, as it saves me the hassle of removing residue and keeps my case - or whever I apply those stickers - looking nice and uniform.

My Cooler Master HAF XM is covered in all the stickers shes handled.  My last ASUS build didn't come with stickers (Ryzen 1) and I wrote an email and had some mailed over free lol (EDIT they also sent a bunch of RoG stickers too which was cool but none of my gear is RoG lol).  My last Samsung SSD did NOT come with a sticker, I emailed and they said they discontinued them...I told them I was walking away from the brand for that alone (and have, I stick with my people still proving flare, and so far there benches haven't given me a reason to pay the Samsung premium) lol.

I keep them if they're not annoying. Intel/amd/nvidia stickers are good. The nonstandard sized ones like your gskill one or the gaudy ones like EVGA's I generally don't use, but I have one outside of the rule, the fhd 1080p sticker on my lenovo T430. I find them nice to show what is in the system, but that's about it. The ones I put inside this case look cool, found a silver nvidia one on ebay.

I don't rep company stickers unless I'm sponsored by them, I won't pay to do their advertising. I usually take most badges or stickers off well everything if I can, I did that to my car for the most part.

Back in the day I actually used to buy custom ones for my cases. They were "Kleer-Dome" badges. Now I pretty much don't use them. I have one of the tiny Intel Badges on my case that came with my Processor and that's it.
