New Rig For 1440p Gaming

Statik

Hey guys, for the past while I've been posting and looking at upgrading my current rig. But I've been thinking, and as it stands, I think I'm going to take my 500GB SSD and 1TB HDD out of my current rig (in my sig), and try to sell it ($400-500 CAD), and sell my triple 1080p panels for $400-450 CAD, for a total of $800-950, then throw that into a brand new build. I plan to mostly game at 3440x1440p, with the possibility of casual streaming. What do you guys think of this build?

With the money from selling my current setup, it's about a $1500-1700 setup. Opinions? Thanks for any help.

EDIT: I also plan on building around november, so I anticipate motherboards to possibly change, as well as getting an AIB 5700XT

doesn't look bad but is water cooling really necessary for you? I'd simply go for air cooling and spend the extra 80 or so dollars on something else

How about getting an air cooler instead of an aio (Noctua NHD15 is one of the best even if OCing)

I'll for sure look into that. How come you guys don't like AIO just out of curiosity? Tbh my main reason for choosing AIO over air was for aesthetics. Another option would be keep my H80i i have in my current rig and try to figure out something to put on my current rig when i sell it

well it's simply because it's not a great deal, but if you're doing it mainly for the looks then sure it's your choice

If you're gaming at 1440p ultrawide 100hz i'd try looking for like a 2080 or a 2080s for 600

I'm in Canada. A 2080S is double the price of a 5700XT

You could save up more by using the aio you already have, and then put a like 30-40 dollars air cooler on the 8320

I see your point, but my budget isn't so right that if I need to pinch pennies in one spot to put them in another.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. I also might see if my stock cooler is kicking around at my old place and see if I can just throw that on.
