How AIB partners work. Does NVIDIA and AMD just give them GPU chips? Do they design the circuitry for their own boards? Are they looked to making cards with AMD/NVIDIA predetermined memory sizes, or can they do their own thing?

 

How much in a card design is AIB and how much is the chip maker? Or do they really only design the coolers and do an over clock?

 

 

I mean, how many versions of a GTX 1080 TI our RX 580 are there? Is this their own doing or is NVIDIA and AMD responsible for the variety of flavors?

 

How much freedom do AIB partners actually have is doing whatever it is that they do?

Here's a video idea, title maybe like "Sh!t SLI" or something, where you take and old "Sh!t" card (or and just "Sh!t" card) and put it in SLI, I thought of this when I saw a Radeon 4670 which could be put in SLI.
