@LinusTech, Can you please have a look at Aster Multiseat?

 

I got inspired by your videoseries "7 Gamers 1 CPU", and I wanted to find out if it was possible do something alike, but more like 1 CPU 1 GPU 2 Gamers. While googleling around, I stumbled upon a program called Aster Multiseat. As I understand it, it's a program that changes windows  to work as a multiuser environment, where each user got their own screen, keyboard, mouse, ect. I think making a video about exploring this program would be a fun and educational video to watch, and it could be the "more reasonable" sequel to the "7 Gamers 1 CPU" for when you got a friend over at your house.

Topic thought.. Nvme, sate, ssd and how each drives speed effects the operation of your mouse and keyboard and their responses.. I seem to notice a large difference in my mouse from sata to ssd to nvme but don't know how to test the numbers and see if it's my mind tricking me or is there a change/effect..

I've always heard about, and even vehemently suggested, not placing a motherboard on the anti-static bag it comes in.  "The outside of the bag is conductive and can damage the board, etc., etc."  Linus has even done his own Techquickie on the matter.  But recently someone threw another YouTube video in my face claiming that it's not true, and that placing their board on the anti-static bag then placing that bag on a carpeted floor to test why the board wouldn't power-on, couldn't have harmed the board.  I'll link the video below.  Perhaps it's time to beat this dead horse.. one more time!  Hopefully this will put and end to all the rumors, lest we be forced to admit we may have been wrong this whole time.

I don't see a place to post video ideas for the normal LTT channel, so I apologize if this is a faux pas.

 

Can you do a video where you use literally every single pin/header on a motherboard and go over why each of them exist? I seem to never utilize 80% of those pins when doing new builds and not knowing why they're even there other than to stress me out and give me more options than I need.

Not a quickie suggestion but a normal video. 64 cores: Ryzen 7 vs 1950x vs Epyc. I want to see 64 core (probably) Beowulf clusters of Ryzen 7 and 1950X go up against 2x EPYC 7601, bonus points for a rig of whatever makes sense from intel. Price/performance analysis, benchmarks, workloads that run the gamut from embarrassingly parallel to requiring very tight linkage between cores, the works.

 

Actually, better make it a series  I'd watch the hell out of that.

Alternatively/additionally do an LTT video about generally the same except using your own server room as a guide of how its used to optimize storage and computing resources for your workflow (I know this has been somewhat done in other videos but not recently I believe and not taking into account all the different servers)
