I was just watching the vid on NCIX about Pixel Density and Resolution and got me thinking, that I am sure there are people I know who could benefit from that vid but it assumed you understood some stuff (what pixel density is in its self for one) so they would not get it really.

I'd love to see a series of quick vids explaining what Pixel density is in a "For Dummies" way, what Resolution is and how and what you look for specifically when buying a monitor.

I'd also love to see things like refresh rate also explained.

I'd also love to see a buying a PC monitor guide overview with guides and tips and pitfalls to avoid.

Plus I'd really love to see a guide on how to buy a TV as a PC monitor/Home Cinema.

I would also thing that a guide on monitor cables might be good, ie what is VGA, DVI, HDMI, etc. What their strengths, limitations and what you should be looking for in different situations (ie PC monitor/Home Cinema, casual gamer or Office Computer and so on)

Things like teraflops etc

No.  Go simpler.  Megabits/bytes vs mega/gigahertz.  Many people don't understand the difference between a data unit and a cycle unit.  This is frustrating when trying to explain the true differences between different hardware.  This makes it difficult to explain to mom why a 3TB hard drive won't necessarily make her computer faster.

-Almost none special functions and sometimes cherry picked chips

-Water flews through them and moves the heat to the copper / aluminium finns which get cooled by fans

-The benefit, that every watercooling loop has -> more space to dissipate heat what allowes lower rpm on fans.

I've only been following the computer game for a year or so. I know pretty much everything I need to know about modern hardware. (Like this if i'm not the only one)

So I would really love "the history of ... as fast as possible" videos. This could be very interesting, especially if you add a so what can we expect for the coming years of this.

Examples for the history of:

  • Sata
  • PCIe
  • Sockets (maybe AMD vs INTEL)
  • DDR
  • Graphic cards

Depends on the raid-controller / sata controller with raid support you're using.
