I just made a my new PC it has a Ryzen 5 1600 and a Gigabyte Vega 56 which has been massively undervolted.

I just wanted to know if I can mine any coins, not to make money but just for fun.

And if so are there any coins which is easy to mine and might increase in value later.

PS Electricity is really cheap where I live approx 0.07-0.08usd per KWh.

If it were easy to guess what coins were going to increase in value, it would be pretty easy to make tons of money now wouldn't it.

I think you should look into the finer points of mining and see what type of coin is most fascinating to you. I know next to nothing about GPU mining but I knew at one point that there was a vram specific coin and I managed to sell my brother's old 780 6GB for a hefty sum during the craze.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k (won) - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Kill Trident Z RGB - Force MP500 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - The venerated Hyper 212 Evo (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G2 650W - Black and green theme, Razer branwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

Linux Proliant ML150 G6:

Dual Xeon X5560 - 24GB ECC DDR3 - GTX 750 TI - old Seagate 1.5TB HDD - Dark moded Ubuntu (and Win7, cuz why not)

EVGA G3 thread, Seasonic Focus thread, S12II/M12II thread, Userbenchmark (Et al.) is trash explained

If you are mining for fun, you could jut pick one. It is difficult to predict future value of crypto.
