3200g vs i3 8100 which is achieving highest fps?

ryzen 3200g or i3 8100 , considering the cpu is used for gaming with an dedicated gpu.

If you already have a dedicate GPU the APU makes no sense, try finding a better priced older gen ryzen like stated or consider the i3 9100F or whatever similar available where you live.

3200G is not Zen 2, only Zen+ so it doesnt have the gaming potential of the 6 core or higher 3rd gen CPUs show for now.

yeah ryzen 3600 has a good price 200$ on amazon..newegg.. too bad in my country is 50$ more. i5 9400f is 30% chepear  here

go for i3 9100f if all you do is gaming but as GoldenLag said if the 1600 is available for the same price or even a bit higher than i3 9100f .. you should go for it . yes it will be slower than 9100f but in CPU intensive games the 1600 will beat 9100f easily

Personally I wouldn't even consider buying a new CPU with only 4/4

 

Get a 1600/2600/3600 since you have a dedicated GPU.

 

Nothing Intel has is worth buying at MSRP.

 

If you can snag a great deal on an 8700 or 8700k it's worth it (I got an 8700 non k for $200 earlier in the year) but otherwise Intel is dead below the 9900k and even that's not worth it.
