is this pre built gaming pc good?

Gapi

I'm gonna get a new gaming pc and don't know how to build one, so I'm buying a pre-built one. I live in a rather small country in europe and there isn't many big brand pre built gaming pcs here like asus or dell, but there are some smaller companies building pcs. Comparing some of them, this is the best I could find:

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti, 4 GB GDDR5

CPU: Intel Core i5–8400

Motherboard: S1151 Micro-ATX H310

storage: SSD 240 GB (SATA3) + 1 TB (SATA3, 7200 bpm)

RAM: 16 GB (2 × 8 GB) DDR4 2400

picture: https://imgur.com/DSxa12v

It costs around 900€, that's 1000 us dollars and 1300 canadian dollars.

I'd highly appreciate if someone would let me know if it's decent for the price. Lmk if I missed anything in the spec list. Also sorry if the formatting is bad or if this is the wrong thread, I'm new to LTT forums and I thought this would be a great place to ask. ❤️

Based on prices for me in the US, that is quite overpriced, but it may be a good deal in your country, I have no idea there. I would also like to know what brand of SSD they're using, as well as ram specs and most importantly the PSU model. Many pre builts cheap out on PSU's which is a major NO NO. If you can build yourself, do it. Don't know how? Well you won't learn by purchasing pre builts.

If you dont mind saying which country your from, people might be able to give you better places to look at.

Also i do suggest giving a own build a try or at least look up some videos on how its done, it not much harder then putting a simple lego kit together and you will be able to save a couple of bucks.

I'm from Slovenia ( population of only 2 mil, so doubt there's anyone else from there). I looked at a bunch of youtube videos and it's quite complicated. If you know any good guide I'd be happy to follow it.

For that price?

No. It's not good.

The computer @BigDamn parted up above would be much better. But since you(OP) live in Europe, there's the VAT, so it might be closer to the same price as the one you've posted... while being a LOT better.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 3700x / GPU: Asus Radeon RX 6750XT OC 12GB / RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8GB DDR4-3200
MOBO: MSI B450m Gaming Plus / NVME: Corsair MP510 240GB / Case: TT Core v21 / PSU: Seasonic 750W / OS: Win 10 Pro

Odd. Try this one: https://www.newegg.com/p/1Z4-0002-00JZ6?Item=9SIA5AD8R60361&cm_sp=SellerProfile_MKPL-_-P3_9SIA5AD8R60361-_-07142019

Also, I didn't include a case in the parts list. I generally leave this up to whoever is building the machine, as it's personal preference and I don't know what they want. That said, here's my recommendation if you need some help finding one: https://www.newegg.com/black-cooler-master-masterbox-mb600l-atx-mid-tower/p/N82E16811119329?Description=cooler master MasterBox&cm_re=cooler_master_MasterBox-_-11-119-329-_-Product

Plenty of space, looks good (imo), for a low price. Happy building man!

hmm, looks like this link doesn't work either. Maybe if you just tell me the name and I'll find it in a slovenian shop. Btw, would any case work with this or do I have to make sure it's right?

Any ATX case will for. Mini-ATX, Full-ATX, etc.

The HDD's I listed are 2tb drives from HGST and WD respectively. Both are sold by goHardDrives so it's possible they only sell to North America. They're about $50 USD so use that for reference when looking around.

Anthony made a nice pc build guide a while ago. There are plenty of other well know youtube channel like Jayz2cents that have a couple of build guides as well. They should be enough to get you started.

But dont feel pressured to do your own build because we tell you to. If you worried to break something even if the chance is low i can totally understand you going for a prebuild anyway. Some PC shops will also allow you to pick your own parts and for 50euro extra they will assemble and test the system for you and you generally get a warranty on the build as well.

As for where to buy, maybe it worth checking out a Austrian or German retailers, maybe they are close enough to deliver to Slovenia. As well as Amazon,Alibaba and other big international retailers.
