Is the RX 570 just a hot card or is it my cooling?

which model? mine goes to 75c (asus strix)

My RX 570 I got a year ago made my system very hot for some reason, I never overclocked it once yet it goes up to 80+ C. I have 2 intake fans "thermaltake" and one corsair 2000rpm exhaust fan.

Is your card overclocked at all? Does your case have sufficient airflow?

 

I have the Gigabyte RX 570 and it wasn't unusual for me to see temps in the mid 70's-80 before adding an additional exhaust fan. I've also adjusted the fan curve in Wattman to be more aggressive. Since then temps seem to remain in the lower 60's with an occasional spike into the low 70's.

A mix of both.  I run over 300 watts through my Fury...it never goes over 47c.  Its got a 200mm fan directing air on it from the side intake.  My other Fury gets to around 57c with a 140mm fan from that PCs side intake blowing directly on it...but that means it needs a repaste for sure.
