Buying the same RAM seperatly

Hey all. I have 16 gb of corsair ram and looking to buy two more sticks.

Could I just buy the exact same model as the ram sticks I currently have?

Thanks!

As long as if they are the exact same model it should be alright. As in same speed, and same timings.

Yes, just double-check the version numbers. If one is Rev 4.07 and the other is 5.01, something like that, they use different NAND. In the case of Ryzen, at least, Hynix NAND tends to not overclock as well as higher-end Samsung. It would suck if you bought 8 GB of B-Die and accidentally added 8GB of Hynix to them.

Is that the same as model number? I checked that before buying and it was the same. I am using on Intel cpu. I checked amazon where I bought it from and they done specify version numbers.

3,000 MHz

Odds are it's Hynix. 3200MHz and above is where you start running into B-Die. You're good. It would all work perfectly well together regardless.
