I want to build a pc with amd apu along with nvidia graphics card, would it be ok?

I am thinking of buying a320 or b450 mobo. for cpu first athlon 200ge later ryzen 2400g if budget fits. for gpu gtx 1060 6gb. my doubt is that will I be able to switch from vega integrated graphics to nvidia graphics and viz versa like that of between intel UHD and nvidia ?

Yep, will work perfectly fine.  It's common to start with an APU and add a GPU later (Nvidia or AMD, doesn't matter).

Why would you want to switch between them? Why not just use the GTX 1060 once you get it?

 

Also, don't buy an A320 motherboard.

Yes, don't use an A320.  Get a B450.

 

I think he misused the term, he won't switch back and forth, he meant like you can ALSO switch from Intel to discrete.

A320 is what manufacturer's sell to cheap system builders who want to screw you for every dollar you have. A good example is the Walmart OVERPOWERED prebuilt.

ok I'll go with b450.

 

for CUDA ML tasks and some crypto minig , so integrated graphics will power the display and graphics card can be used to it's full potential that's the intention.

I meant switching from integrated vega to discrete nvidia and again nvidia to vega, would it be possible?

or at least will windows have auto-select option like that for intel/nvidia? where we can decide which graphics to use
