€2500 High-End Build

Hi, my boss is buying me a new pc with no real max budget as long as it makes sense.
I was looking at something like this:
CPU: Amd Ryzen 9 3900x
GPU: Nvidia RTX 2080 Super
Motherboard: Crosshair 8 Hero
Memory: 2x8gb ddr4-3600

Power Supply: 700W
Case
Cooling
Storage...

I'm going to use it for training AI and also gaming with the Valve Index.
Do you guys have any remarks or suggestions on the case and cooling I should buy?
Is more or faster than 1tb samsung 960 ssd and a 2tb hard drive actually usefull?

Thanks

EDIT: Luke gave me a nice looking pc build: I will probably go for that when the 2080super comes out.

I would suggest a 2TB SSD, then you can put everything on SSD. The Samsung 960 is an odd choice though, it's quite old. Maybe an Intel 660p, or a Samsung 970 Evo Plus if you want something really fast.

CPU cooling could be like a Noctua NH-D15 SE AM4 or the like.

Case depends on what kind of looks you prefer.

do you really need that? why not something like a prime p or tuf wifi?

a good quality 650 is sufficient

isn't a 2tb ssd a bit overkill. I keep my pc pretty clean and it seems like I've never had an issue with my current 500gb ssd and 2tb hard drive

I don't know if I need the hero 8, it seemed like it was needed to let everything run at their max potential in Linus's video.
So any 1tb pcie 4 sdd should be good or not for this build

it can, up to ln2 level even, but most x570's can easily do that 150a that 12c needs

the prime p actually has the vrm setup of the maximus xi hero

I've only build 1 pc 6 years ago. I don't really understand what all those things mean

vrm=power delivery

a fully maxed out (I'm talking full custom waterloop, close to frying voltage) 3900x would use about 150a, which about any motherboard on x570 can do without problems

the power delivery configuration is the same on the prime p as it is on the maximus xi hero

Why would this build be better? Its only a little cheaper and if I would pick a 2080super it would be $250 cheaper.

since when is a 2080s 469?

@Niel_A What Country are you in ? as you state Euros you would get a more accurate price using the German dropdown menu.

I meant based on your build if you switch out the 2080ti by 2080super it would be 250 cheaper.

Linus says here future graphics card would be able to work on this motherboard at there max potential. Doesn't that make it worth the extra money to upgrade to the hero 8 motherboard?
Also what is the difference in speeds between HP - EX920 1 TB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive and 1tb aorus NVMe gen4 SSD?

that's just with x570 in general because it uses pcie 4.0, which even the top tiers can saturate, and only the 5700 series currently support it

one is pcie 3 and tops out around 2.5 gigs sequential (which normally isn't achievable), and the aorus around 4-4.5 gigs

So why would anyone by the hero 8 then? It has the same speeds as your suggestion but costs $300 more.
So pcie4 is useless because those speeds can't be reached anyway? @LukeSavenije

I'm in Belgium but exact prices don't really matter.

Depends on your usage, and whether you mind having some stuff on HDD.
