[HTML/CSS] Is this possible?

I've got a massive set of gradients that I'd like to save as a .png instead of having a little over one thousand lines to load (the idea is because .pngs save transparency I'll be able to layer it over the image the gradient is already over, then have just the one image to load instead of several gradients and an image as the background). Is this possible? I can't seem to find anything on this and I also can't save the gradient as an image when I make an .html file with just the gradient covering the screen. Maybe some image editor tha'll let me plug these values into it?

why don't you make the gradient in illustrator or something and put 2 images on top of eachother ?

sounds like it would be simpler than try and rip it off the code and apply it back..

Ive never used illustrator and Ive already spent hours writing and tweaking this, and for general drawing software code is far more precise than I could ever draw. Like it took me forever to get the EXACT look I wanted...

How would I go about saving a few gradients as a single sprite? Or just a gradient as a sprite? Dont sprites need to be images already?

With gradient.PNG

without gradient.PNG
