Upgrading my setup

Hello everyone! Hope you are having a good day /night where ever you are!

I am interested in doing some upgrades to my setup, not necessarily components.

I could go with a new case, chair, case fans, and a Noctua NH-D15.

or

I could get two 2k 144hz 32 inch curved monitors.

I don’t know which to get because if I get the monitors the gpu might overheat or if I get the first option I won’t be able to play the games in higher res for a while. Any suggestions?

Might be nice to know what you have already, where you're located, how much you can spend, etc.

Uhm, the GPU can't overheat from buying new monitors. Not how it works.

Why do you need 2 monitors to be able to play games?  WHy not 1 monitor and a new chair and case?  Mix and Match!!!

Right now I am visiting parents but I live in America,

Sorry yes, I should have included this,

Asus Strix 1080

Ryzen 5 2600X

16gb of ddr4

I currently have 2 monitors of 1920x1080 flat

I can spend a total of $700

I was thinking the higher resolution would make the gpu work more?

Yes, it will make it work more, but the fans will spin faster to cool it and it will thermal throttle to keep itself from causing damage.

Why not get a nice monitor and have the 2 1080p monitors flank it?  27" is the sweetspot for 1440p, not 32" IMO.

Also, since you give no models for case, chair or case fans... how can we give our opinions?

The case is a NZXT 500i

The case fans are Corsair ML120 and ML140

The chair is is a GTRacing GT901

CPU Cooler is a Noctua NH-D15

I have an IKEA Karlby Walnut Desk about 72inches if I remember right. (Black and Brown)

I always open to suggestions but I would like to know what should I get first, whether it is one of these or one of your suggestions.

$700 budget? I'd get a 1440p Ultrawide monitor instead of 2 monitors you were thinking of.

Don't need a new cooler, stock one is fine.  Racing chairs are uncomfortable for long periods and basically useless, get a good proper office chair.

Basically I'd get a monitor with your GTX1080, let it run some 3440x1440 goodness.

Okay, I would like a monitor like that but I would like it to be 144hz which I am having trouble finding. Why is 32inch not the sweetspot for 1440p?

If you want 144Hz, you may have to settle for 1080p.  1440p UW's usually max at 120Hz.  Regular 1440p can go to 165+.

32 isn't the sweetspot as it enlarges the pixels enough to notice them a bit.  That's what I have seen and didn't like it that much.  I like UW as it more closely mimics my natural eyesight, it's my preferred resolution these days.

Of course if you want a 32" 1440p 144Hz... there are quite a few to choose from, and a few curved:

I was originally going with that option but get 2 of them next to each other, now I am re considering.

This was the one I was originally going to buy:

https://www.amazon.com/AOC-CQ32G1-Frameless-2560x1440-DisplayPort/dp/B07HKM16DT

I would like to keep the size the same and be able to get two of them or one ultra wide, I will look into 4K 32inch monitors, and if you were me what monitor would you get?

I do like that 32" AOC you linked if you are staying 16:9, but for UW I like #3.
