Opinions on my budget build please

My first build and I was stuck to a pretty tight buget. I just wanted some opinion and ideas for future upgrades.

It's a nice build you've got there. Which games are you gonna play on it, and which fps do you want to achieve?

I'm not sure. I am switching from console so I'm open to anything. But I do play Battlefield. Assassins Creed. GTA and a few others. I just dont want too much fps drop.

Yes the RX 590 is better in some games. Take a look at this:

590 is a bit faster 580 they are they same chips on different node, so if you need a GPU NOW i would go with something Nvidia.

i wish you asked for advice before you got parts, maybe  you can find GTX 1660ti for that if not go for 580/590

I think the RX 580 or 590 can do 1080p in most games without an issue. :)

As you could get Ryzen 5 3600 instead of R7 2700 ( 3600 is faster in gaming ) and save some money on mother board

Have I made a mistake then? I thought the R7 2700 was decent.

it is good enough for that GPU, just new AMD CPUs are better as it usually is, tho the 2700 might be faster in other workloads besides gaming

No worries, it will do fine. You would get some more FPS here and there. But nothing that really matters. Especially if you run at 1080p. I guess you won't do e-sports games as a professional.

I was torn between the R7 2700 and the R5 3600 I looked at them both. Bad move I guess.

No. what settings would I be able to use at 1080p? High or Medium?

Would I be better running at 720p?
