G.SKILL is launching a new family of the RGB Trident Z RAM sticks with the new 'Neo' name. These sticks feature slightly changed looks on the heat spreaders but still have all the same RGB functionality of previous Trident Z sticks.
G.SKILL also announced the frequencies and timings of the new kits.

Pretty interesting to see how Ryzen 3000 chips will scale with the faster performing memory and how that will actually reflect in gaming/production workloads. Personally, these look like standard Trident Z's to me and I've never been a big fan of the RGB on memory.

Interesting for them to offer a 1.2V option at 3600mhz.

Very nice. Will get that 16GB 3600MHz CL14 kit. Will turn LEDs off though, or put white maybe. These will probably be quite expensive though.

AM4 mobos always supported 4x16GB, but getting high frequency to work was shaky.

New boards support up to 128GB, including ECC on some boards.

Design choice, I quite like it. More character than a full black look (I understand people prefer this sometime too ).
Its called a two-tone, very common, basic and popular way to give something a bit of added aethetic appeal. - eg:

ECC support has always existed on Ryzen, board makers just haven't cared.

Even so, I am unaware of a single board on AM4 that ever implemented support. ECC was just baked in for Threadripper, where even then it was only on the highest class workstation boards.

Im Curious if we would be able to use 2 - 2x8 14-15-15-35 kits seeing as you can do this on Gen 1 Ryzen already.. and Zen 1 with a x370 board... interesting...

Anyone knows whether these new Trident Z Neo modules work well with first gen Ryzen(for example Ryzen 1700)?
I can get F4-3200C16D-16GTZN for 130euros
or F4-3200C16D-16GTZRX for 150euros.

I've already tried the gtzrx version but couldn't get it to be stable on my B350-f, but there were a few BIOS updates which might make it stable.
I'm wondering if someone has access to some b350 motherboard and Trident Z neo 3200MHz CL16 to test it out and see if it works well.
