moved threads registered in unreads

General discussion still shows as unread on the main page even though the ones I have not read has bean moved to another thread.

I live in misery USA. my timezone is central daylight time which is either UTC -5 or -4 because the government hates everyone.

into trains? here's the model railroad thread!

I reported this to the forum software devs a while back, but fixing it would require significant changes to the way that unread topics are tracked unfortunately. Those changes were on the table when I brought it up a long time ago, but as it hasn't changed since it is unlikely that it will be changed for a while unfortunately.
