So how much did you boost your steam level?

Are these restrictions new, relative to steam's age? I don't ever remember encountering limited functionality based upon anything, and to be honest, I don't even know if profiles had a level attach to them when I created my account.

You can add more friends, and add widgets. He might mean these functions since they'd be either grayed out or unavailable to low levels.

Lovecraftian

I discovered this in 2019 as well. I own quite a few Lovecraftian games but haven't gotten around to playing any of them. Some look like I'd like them so I bought them for dirt cheap or added them because they're free. Surprisingly I own Cultist Simulator. I got it for free on eBay from someone that sent it to me by accident instead of someone else. I was forced to keep it since it's tied to my account but I've never played it. It's not my cup of tea at all but if I were influenced to play it in some way, I'd pick it up and give it a try.

Praey for the Gods

I've actually never heard of this game. I've always wanted to play Shadow of the Colossus(only from watching Reign Over Me) and this game looks very good. Probably won't be playing it anytime soon with that high price tag but I'll keep it in mind years down the road when it hits a my price range.

Caught it for a bit of a discount, and the fact that it's in early access was enticing, not offputting like most would see it. It's easily worth 40 dollars when it's COMPLETE, so a 20 dollar investment in a good game that the devs are still active with is worth it to me. :)

The Summer Sale was stupid this year and there were no good sales on any good games, so I didn't spend a single cent. That also means I didn't boost my level, either.

There's a 80% off for Hitman GOTY Bundle(2016) series, which I got.

Borderlands 2 is 75% off, and The Handsome Collection is 97% off.

Yeah it's not as great as before, but Witcher 3(70% off) and Far Cry 5(67% off).

You get the picture. Mostly what I got were smaller games, like Schmups(Binding of Isaac:Rebirth, Metal Slug 3)
